Create a one of a kind Gourd Flask/Water Bottle! There are so many looks you could create with this project.
The Kit comes with a waterproof BioThane strap in chocolate brown (has the look of leather but it's waterproof and very durable), Brass and copper cap with attached cork and brass chain, copper pour sleeve, brass Chicago Screw, 4 oz. Pure White Beeswax Pearls and .7 oz of 2-part 5 minute epoxy. Complete instructions are provided. The gourd is not included. You'll need a bottle gourd. Mine is 10" tall, 5" diameter at the widest part, 2 1/2" diameter at the narrow, neck part. My finished project holds 1 quart of water! The metal parts will take patinas well, if desired. The project will be sealed inside with natural beeswax; the epoxy is sealed with wax to make the project fully food/water safe.
FYI: Because this kit requires curing time for the epoxy and the beeswax (aside from your artwork), it's not a one session afternoon project.
